Cold Happenings – We are surviving some very cold temps for our neck of the woods. All the clothing we purchased for our trip to Idaho have come in very handy for the past couple of weeks. Fortunately, we haven’t had the snow that upstate has been forced to endure. I’ve been asking folks if they’re surviving the cold or enjoying the cold? Particularly with the influx of recent transplants.

Day Job Happenings – The Wife and I are awaiting to see how the new executive orders on government workers and telework shake out. I love being punished because of the misdeeds of others and being at the mercy of the mob. My own feelings aside, The Wife and I are budgeting for the possible purchase of a new vehicle, because if I have to go back, being a one-car family is no longer viable.

Door Happenings – The pantry doors at Ward Manor were not closing securely enough. Particularly with some very curious cats who want to get into the various contents. We decided to upgrade the pantry doors to something a bit more secure. The process took a bit longer than our handyman originally thought, but the end result turned out pretty good.
